The Center for Mobile Learning with Digital Media is based on long-term expertise and activities in the field of conceptualising and developing interactive mathematical software (Chair of Mathematics and Mathematics Education - University of Bayreuth, Germany) and implementing it in schools and universities. EMS European Mathematical Society
The European Mathematical Society (EMS) was founded in 1990 in Madralin near Warsaw, Poland. The EMS is a learned society representing mathematicians throughout Europe. LMS London Mathematical Society
The London Mathematical Society (LMS), founded in 1865 for the promotion and extension of mathematical knowledge, is the major UK learned Society for mathematics with a national and international membership of around 2500. The Society’s activities include publishing journals and books, providing grants to support mathematics, and organising scientific meetings and lectures.

Maths in France

CIRM Centre International de Rencontres Mathématiques
CIRM is a conference centre based in the heart of Luminy-Marseille, France, and attracts scientists from all over the world to events in all areas of the mathematical sciences, broadly understood. Its core function is to host and help organize events that can last from 3 days to several weeks (conferences, research schools, small groups, research in pairs, thematic sessions etc.). The centre accommodates groups of 2 to 90 people and is proud to welcome over 3,500 visitors per year. One of its flagship programmes is the Jean-Morlet Chair which welcomes foreign mathematicians in residence for six months at a time. Come and visit our stand to learn more about our centre, its calendars of events, its new calls for proposals, its remarkable audiovisual library and our new ventures for 2018! Our stand will also give information about Maths in France and about our two main trustees, the CNRS and the French Mathematical Society.

CNRS Centre national de la recherche scientifique
The National Center for Scientific Research, or CNRS, is a public organization under the responsibility of the French Ministry of Education and Research. The CNRS is the largest fundamental research organization in Europe and carries out research in all fields of knowledge. Its laboratories in mathematics are grouped under INSMI, the National Institute for Mathematical Sciences and its Interactions. CNRS is present on the 7ECM "Maths in France" stand with information about its many international ventures, as well as research opportunities for graduates, post docs and advanced researchers. It is also there as one of the trustees of CIRM-Luminy in Marseille.




SMF Société Mathématique de France
The French Mathematical Society, or SMF, is a learned society founded in 1872. It is an editor of journals and books including publications for the general public. It gathers about 2000 members, all with a passion for mathematics. The SMF works alongside other national mathematical societies, as well as with the European Mathematical Society, to support mathematics at all levels in society. The SMF is also a trustee of CIRM-Luminy, the international conference centre based in Marseille, and will be present at 7ECM on the stand "Maths in France".
